## What kind of crossing this is

Odesa oblast, on the southern stretch of the Ukraine–Moldova border; Săiți in Căușeni district on the Moldovan side. An interstate road crossing for cars only: there are no bus or pedestrian lanes here, so any trip by coach or on foot has to be routed through the neighbouring crossings from the start.

It is one of the youngest points on our map: telemetry from Lisne has only been reaching us since August 2026, so the usual "which day is heavier, which hour is lighter" analysis is not available yet — the live queue is there, but the history is too short for honest conclusions. In May 2026 the 25th border detachment of the State Border Guard Service formalised the border-control regime and zone boundaries at Lisne – Săiți by a separate order. In practice that means driving only in the marked lanes, never leaving the car outside the designated areas, no photo or video inside the control zone without the guards' consent, and having every passenger's documents and the vehicle registration ready before you enter the zone.

If the figures on this page look bad, the nearest alternative is Serpneve 1 – Basarabeasca about 33 km away; then Starokozache – Tudora (about 50 km), Kuchurhan (54 km) and Maiaky – Udobne – Palanca (57 km). Count the crossing time in either direction for both services: the Moldovan side processes under its own procedures, and on weekends and public holidays every crossing on this stretch fills up roughly in step.

This crossing handles: Cars.

There is no pedestrian lane here: only 4 of the 9 crossings on this border let you walk across.

There is no separate coach lane here.

Right now it ranks 7 of the 9 crossings on this border that report data: 2:05 outbound against 15 min at the fastest one (Kelmentsi – Larga).

Our calibration allows 6 minutes per car here. Across all crossings that constant runs from 4 to 10 minutes, and 4 of them are slower than this one.

Hence the formula for this crossing: 65 minutes for the crossing itself plus 6 minutes for every car ahead of you. Document checks, customs inspection and delays on the neighbouring side are not in that number — we count the queue only. - [Customs allowances: what you may carry across](https://yaknakordoni.com.ua/en/porady/mytni-normy#into-ukraine-what-you-may-bring-from-the-eu) — EU allowances when entering from Ukraine and Ukrainian allowances when entering from the EU: goods, alcohol, tobacco, cash, fuel and pets. Sourced and dated. (because Ukrainian allowances apply on the way back)
