What kind of crossing this is

Lviv region, the Yavoriv direction; on the Polish side lies Budomierz and the road to Jarosław. This crossing opened considerably later than its neighbours, specifically to take pressure off Krakivets and Shehyni, which by then could no longer handle the traffic. It is still noticeably less well known than either of the older posts, and many drivers simply do not think of it when planning a route.

That low profile makes Hrushiv behave quite differently from the large crossings nearby. Early in the week it is often nearly empty — a queue of a few cars is an ordinary Monday here, not an exception. By the end of the week the picture reverses: Friday is consistently the heaviest day, and by midday the flow becomes comparable to Krakivets. So this is not an "always clear" crossing, but one with a very uneven week.

The practical conclusion is simple. If you travel in the first half of the week, Hrushiv almost always beats its neighbours — both on the queue and because the drive from Lviv is not much longer. On Fridays and before public holidays, check that advantage against live data rather than habit: at peak hours the gap with Krakivets disappears, and sometimes runs the other way.
